Final Animation project using Flipbook-ish and Advanced-ish
For the animation final project, we had to use Animation-ish's various levels of programs (in most cases, Flipbook-ish and Advanced-ish) to create a short informative and educational video.
My animation is titled "How to fold an origami crane," and offers step-by-step instructions incorporating both text and origami diagrams - images are characteristic of origami instructions. I used both the mouse and the Bamboo tablet pad to create and edit my animation.
Comments: Hand-drawing an entire series of origami diagrams, mostly composed of geometric shapes, and incorporating it into animation, proved to be difficult, time-consuming, but rather rewarding.
Animation could prove to be a useful tool in other classes, especially for presentations in English or science classes. Animating ideas in these subjects could provide for a unique look and hands-on feel, making it a viable alternative to Powerpoint presentations.
